Our approach

Clothes with a quieter kind of confidence

Kenta Ishida is a small Tokyo atelier for dresses and knitwear chosen for the way they feel on a real evening — easy to move in, kind to the figure, and finished with details that hold up close.

We keep the collection deliberately short. Each silhouette is picked for its line and its fabric, then described honestly, so you can decide without guessing.

THE KENTA ISHIDA APPROACH

Fewer pieces, chosen well.

We would rather offer a small, carefully edited wardrobe than a crowded one. Dresses for the nights that matter, knits for everything after — nothing that needs an excuse to be worn.

The details we stand behind

Soft linings, fluid drape and knits chosen to keep their shape beyond the first season.

Notes from our customers

Worn and loved

Wore it all night

"The halter dress fit exactly as the size notes said, and the fabric moved beautifully. I danced in it for six hours and it still looked fresh."

Mina T. · Tokyo

Softer than expected

"The cable knit is warm without feeling heavy. I ordered the white and it has kept its shape through two washes already."

Clara W. · Melbourne

The lace midi is the one

"Elegant without being fussy. The sleeves are the detail everyone asks about, and the length works with flats or heels."
